MEDIUM BODIED RED WINES: mellow, silky, velvety! Supple, subtle and at times almost silken in texture, these medium bodied wines couple their fruit-forward flavors in a single, elegantly balanced structured expression. While these wines may generously offer flavors of blackberries, cherries and cassis along with hints of smoke, oak and freshly tanned leather, no one element dominates the mix.

This impressively versatile group of medium bodied wines is especially good with lamb, grilled sausages, rustic stews and moderately flavored dishes, or whenever you just feel like a glass of wine.

Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, Grenache, Merlot, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Rioja, Sangiovese and Tempranillo.
